Quell the Anxiety of Not Being Organized

Stop using to- do lists and use your calendar more to be more organized and productive.

What I’d like to talk about today is the idea of quelling or reducing the anxiety associated with not being organized. The value of getting more organized, is cleaning out your inbox. And stop using to – do lists and use your calendar more to be more organized and productive. And when I talk to people about these concepts, everybody agrees that there is great value. And yet it’s very difficult to do. There is so much going on in everyone’s lives

You’re always looking around for what do I need to do now? You look at that email you look at that to do list and this mental triage is what’s creating anxiety So if you want to quell the mental triage, that means emptying out your inbox.

It means stop using to do lists. Rather, put it in your calendar, decide when you’re going to do something and do it then. And you can always reschedule it. If you get to that point.

And you’ll know that it’s taken care of. You know that it’ll be handled. You don’t have to leave it in your inbox. you don’t have to leave it in your to do list. Get rid of all those things. Purge those things from your life. And you will find that you will not only be more effective and more organized but you will eliminate this tremendous anxiety in your life.
